Week 3
Another week, more firsts. Will continues to be a really easy baby - especially for me, since Melissa is doing ALL the work. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 10 oz. when he went back to the Doctor on Friday, and as you can see from the picutres, he's gaining most of that in his cheeks.He's cooing now, and smiling in his sleep every once in a while. We had our first big outing out to eat today - we walked up to the Mexican restaurant up the street and had lunch. We timmed it really well so he slept the whole time. Major success.
We gave him his first bath, as you can see from the picture - and he didn't exactly love it.
Dang, Melissa is pretty, isn't she?!?

We, Grandpa Steve and I, had the pleasure of spending 2 weeks with Will and his parents. Will is truly adorable and a very good baby. He is quite alert and pays such close attention when we talked to him. Melissa and Adam are adapting wonderfully well and are certainly enjoying their addition. Grandparenting is great; being a 1000 miles away is not--but the Farver family is healthy and happy and we will just have to deal with the distance. Barbara
