First Post...Day Two

It would be much cuter to post here as if William was typing...narrating as if it were him speaking in the first person. Alas, cute is not my forte, so you'll have to bear with me until he is old enough to type on his own.

William Morrison Farver was born on January 25th, 2008 at 1:08 p.m. in Houston, Texas.

He weighed 7 lbs., 1 ounce at birth and measured 20.5 inches long.

We took this picture shortly after we moved into the room where we're staying now. He's been eating so well, sleeping regularly, and - of course - giving me lots of opportunities to perfect my diaper changing skillz.

Below is a shot of me changing my first diaper. William was extremely patient with me as I figured it all out. My goal is to be the fastest diaper changer in the west, and if my improvement in the last 12 hours is any indication, I'm well on my way to achieving it.

Day 2 is going to be a big day:

- Some tests

- Register person was already here for SSN and Birth Certificate info.

- Worst surgery ever

- More diaper changing lessons

Day 3 will be even bigger:

Heading home.
